What are Soapy Mouths onesies made of?
Our onesies are made from premium 100% soft cotton, gentle on baby's sensitive skin. Some heather color options are a 52% cotton / 48% poly blend. All styles feature a comfortable envelope neckline for easy on and off, and three snap leg closure for quick diaper changes.
Are these onesies safe for babies?
Absolutely. The fabric and construction meet standard baby apparel safety requirements. The prints are applied using methods safe for baby skin. As always, follow the care label instructions and inspect for wear regularly.
Are these onesies appropriate to actually put on a baby?
The humor is for the adults in the room — the baby has no idea what their onesie says, and that's kind of the whole point. Our designs poke fun at parenting culture, not at babies. That said, use your judgment for the occasion. Grandma's birthday dinner might not be the right venue for "CUNextTuesday."
What sizes do you offer?
All of our onesies come in four sizes:
- 3-6M — fits babies 20–25" / 12–16 lbs
- 6-12M — fits babies 25–28" / 16–22 lbs
- 12-18M — fits babies 28–30" / 22–27 lbs
- 18-24M — fits babies 30–32" / 27–30 lbs
What size should I buy as a gift?
When in doubt, go bigger. Babies grow fast, and new parents tend to be flooded with newborn and 0-3M sizes at baby showers. A 6-12M or 12-18M onesie is almost always the safest bet — it gives the baby time to grow into it and the parents time to actually use it. Check out our full baby onesie sizing guide for more detail.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Shipping times vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Please check the shipping options available at checkout for your country. We're working to make our onesies available to parents (and gift-givers) everywhere.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Use it to follow your package every step of the way.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to love what you ordered. If there's an issue with your order — wrong item, defect, or damage — please reach out to us and we'll make it right. Contact us through our store's contact page with your order number and a description of the issue.
Can I exchange for a different size?
If you need a different size, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to help, subject to stock availability.
Gifting
Are these good baby shower gifts?
They are the best baby shower gifts. At least, that's what we think. They're unique, memorable, and guaranteed to make everyone in the room laugh. Do you offer gift wrapping?
We don't currently offer gift wrapping, but our onesies are compact and easy to wrap yourself. A little tissue paper and a gift bag go a long way — especially when the recipient opens it and loses it laughing.
Will the funny sayings make sense to everyone?
Some of our designs are more obvious than others. A few require a knowing wink between adults. If you're buying for someone with a bold sense of humor, go all in. If you're not sure, our tamer designs (like "Regrets," "STATS," and "He's a Liar") land with just about everyone.
